Happy Holidays & New Year from AG Gallery!

We would love to thank you so much for visiting and supporting AG Gallery and the artists throughout the year. We appreciate all your love, support, and interest in art, without every one of you, we are not able to present new artists and new exhibitions.

Our current holiday group exhibition, “Art In Boxes 2018” will be on view until January 6, 2019.  Please visit us if you have not already for the exhibition. We are always delighted to having you at AG Gallery.

Extended: Sweet Paradise by Amit Greenberg

SWEET PARADISE on View until Sunday, August 5th, 2018.

We are happy to announce that our current exhibition Sweet Paradise is extended until the Sunday, August 5th. Please visit the gallery is you haven’t done so. In this exhibition we feature 7 original acrylic silkscreen on wood boards, along with the limited edition silkscreen prints (signed edition of 50) of three works from the show.

This weekend, the gallery is open to public from 12:00 pm to 8 pm as usual. Gallery admission is free.

AG Gallery is pleased to announce solo exhibition “SWEET PARADISE” by Amit Greenberg opening on Saturday June 30. Greenberg, known as This is Amit on social media, is a Brooklyn based multidisciplinary visual artist and designer, born and raised in Haifa, Israel. Greenberg graduated from School of Visual Arts in 2018. For past years, Greenberg has worked on projects with companies and organizations including Colette, Ikea, Saatchi Art, and Whitney Museum. Greenberg is one of the most sensitive and influential artists in pop-art and design that we would love to keep eyes on. This exhibition is specially curated by AG Gallery so we can experience his creations in a personal, much closer distance. This is an opportunity that we invite you to look into his  personal recent creations. Please join us at opening reception and meet the artist on June 30, 2018.

Artist Statement

With evolving techniques and static themes, my process is an active exploration of spirituality, sexuality, mortality, fear and joy; woven together through art and design. I strive to create a playful world; the viewer is encouraged to indulge and get lost in multi-dimensional work. The deeper the inspection, the greater the reward.

FOLKLORE | Maria V. Montiel

AG Gallery is pleased to announce a new solo exhibition “FOLKLORE” by Maria V. Montiel opening on March 3rd, 2018.

Montiel is a Barcelona based floral painter originally from Venezuela and she has been living and making works in Spain for the last 11 years. Many people might know her work through her original accessories and jewelries made with her original painting images. In this exhibition, FOLKLORE,  we will introduce you to Montiel’s original large watercolor paintings of her heritage and her love for nature. This exhibition is going to be the first of its kind that she reveals her beautiful paintings on paper in New York City.

Exhibition is on view from March 3rd through April 15, 2018.
