AG Gallery is pleased to announce the new exhibition “Nature’s Optimists” is opening on Saturday, March 5, 2022. This is a group exhibition focused on artists around the world creating amazing Linocut art. Artists included in this exhibition: Brian Reedy, Nicole Spillane, Liz Hughes, Sarah Drummond, Fiona Black, and Valdis Baškirovs. This is an exhibition where we selected artists from around the world, with wild animals in their shared interest. Please visit AG Gallery and enjoy their stunning linocut works in person.

“ENTANGLEMENTS” by Erica Linnemann

AG Gallery is pleased to announce an exhibition ENTANGLEMENTS by Erica Linnemann is opening tomorrow on Monday, November 8, 2021. Erica Linnemann is a New York based artist who creates ink line drawings. This will be the second time for AG Gallery to present her drawings since the one-window exhibition “Drawings by Erica Linnemann” earlier this year. The exhibition takes place both in the gallery space downstairs and the gallery show window space. Her drawing subjects are collected from her everyday life, imagination and inner emotions, altogether, she creates the narrative line drawing of figures. The miniature figures in her work are the thoughts, ideas and feelings. All artworks are framed in vintage frames selected by the artist. Please ask the staff inside to purchase the drawings.

Please be one of the first people to visit AG Gallery to check out the show as at the last show her work quickly sold out. if you acquired her work last time, this might be good timing to collect another one. 

About Artist

Erica Linnemann is an illustrator based in Upper Manhattan. Her drawings attempt to playfully capture mental struggles and everyday experiences. The miniature figures seen in some works represent thoughts, ideas or feelings, depending on the concept or situation.

Miguel Pang | The Washington Square Variations

AG Gallery is pleased to announce that a solo exhibition “The Washington Square Variations” by Miguel Pang Ly is fonally opening on Sunday, September 12, 2021.


The illustrations of the Washington Square Variations are made based on a mixture of Miguel’s imagination and his actual visits to the Washington Square while he was staying in New York City. This time we are pleased to invite you to a wall full of his art, 39 original Washington Square paintings by him.

AG Gallery has been presenting Miguel’s work since 2018, and we have been showing his New York themed art since then, as well as his more imaginary, storytelling works. We are excited to invite you to this spectacular exhibition The Washington Square Variations. We look forward to seeing each one of you at the gallery.


ABOUT ARTIST

Miguel Pang Ly is an illustrator born in Barcelona of Cambodian and Chinese parents. His main interest is to explore the depths of a story & the unconscious through the illustrations.

Some of clients are Les Fourmis Rouges, Lagrume, SM, A buen paso, Windsor&Newton, Blind books, Mov Palavers, Vegueta Ediciones, Ajuntament de santa Coloma, Ekaré, Magellan

ABOUT ARTIST

Wenlu Bao is a mixed-media artist based in Brooklyn. Wenlu’s work mainly concentrates on female inner crisis and disorder. The discovery of hidden contradictions under seemingly peaceful life awakens her and anger coming after that partially forms up her inspirations. She is a young artist, whose works have been exhibited around the US and China and also been featured by Dazed Beauty. A versatile system has been created based on her original pieces. Her website, wearable or portable creations all work together to narrate, which enables her to enter different aspects of the market. Wenlu received her MFA of Photographic and Electronic Media in Maryland Institute College of Art.
